The sweetheart table is an ever growing alternative to the traditional head table at a wedding reception. It allows for a more intimate experience for the new married couple. When properly placed with in the floor plan of the reception, the sweetheart table will provide those special moments of togetherness while still being an integral part of the environment without missing out or feeling set apart.

One of our favorite reception floor plans that includes the sweetheart table also includes a king table. With the sweetheart table placed at the head of the floor plan, the king tables runs through the center of the reception, with the couple at the sweetheart table facing the length of the long king table. The guest seated at the king table have all the advantages of socialization and centrality that the king table offers, but with a clear view of the newly married couple. And the couple at the sweetheart table have the advantage of their intimate sending while still being in close proximity to the center of the action.

Flowers for the sweetheart table are always a special touch, from greenery garlands to full floral runners to light greenery accents, adding some flowers and greenery to the sweetheart table is always a welcome addition.
